Janome Warranty Repair

We are proud to provide warranty repair for Janome machines purchased from our shop. If you've purchased your machine from another authorized dealer, you will need to reach out to them for your warranty-covered needs.

If your Janome machine needs warranty service, simply bring it in during normal business hours.


What to Bring With Your Machine

To properly test and service your machine, please bring:

  • Spool of thread

  • Full wound bobbin

  • New needle

  • Foot and face plate that allows for zig-zag stitching

  • Power cord

  • Foot control pedal

  • Embroidery unit, embroidery hoop with stabilizer, and fabric for testing (if applicable)

Having these items ensures we can fully test your machine and avoid delays.


Service & Repair Policy Updated 4/12/26

Due to a high volume of complex and time-intensive repairs, we have implemented a structured intake process for all sewing machine service and repair.

Scheduling & Intake

Machine intake is limited and available every other week during the following days:

  • Thursday

  • Friday

  • Saturday
    (during normal business hours)

Please reference the calendar on the home page for each drop-off week. 

To ensure we can properly manage each repair and maintain quality service, all machines must be scheduled in advance through our online booking system.

  • Pre-booking is required. Machines will not be accepted without a confirmed appointment.

  • Limited availability: A set number of intake slots are available every other week. We recommend booking early.

  • Testing equipment required: Please bring all necessary accessories needed to properly test your machine (power cords, foot pedal, embroidery units, etc.). Machines arriving without required components will not be accepted.


Drop-Off Information

Machines may be dropped off during your scheduled slot within our regular business hours.

  • A $50 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your drop-off appointment.

  • This deposit will be applied toward your final balance.

  • Missed appointments: If you miss your scheduled slot, your $50 deposit will be forfeited.


Repair-Only Machines

If you are bringing your machine in for repair only (no routine service requested):

  • A $50 non-refundable bench fee is required.

  • This fee covers the technician’s time to diagnose the issue.

  • The bench fee applies even if you choose not to proceed with the repair.

  • If you approve the repair, the bench fee will be applied toward the final repair cost.


This process allows us to dedicate the appropriate time and attention to each machine while continuing to provide the highest level of service.

Turnaround Time

Regular Service:
Estimated turnaround is 1–2 weeks, depending on how many machines are currently in the queue.

Repairs:
If a repair is needed, we will contact you with:

  • A description of the issue

  • An estimate for repair costs

Repair turnaround times vary depending on:

  • Parts availability

  • Complexity of the repair

No repair work will be completed without your approval.
